11.2.7. Adjustment of height of a suspension bracket of a body

Measurement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To check pressure in tires of wheels.
2. To install the equipped car (without loading, with the full fuel tank) on a flat and horizontal surface.
3. To measure distance between base and the lower part of a body before a back wheel.
4. Before measurement it is necessary to shake the car for removal of tension in a suspension bracket.
5. To take three dimensions and to define average value.
6. To define an average for both parties of the car value (for cars with a body the sedan value makes 210 mm, and for cars with a komba body – 232 mm).
7. The difference between values for both parties should not exceed 7 mm.

Adjustment bases

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Adjustment is based on turn of the torsion. Movement of the torsion on one vents causes change of height of a suspension bracket of a body on 3 mm.
2. Adjustment is carried out by change of length of adaptation installed on the place of the shock-absorber.

Adjustment method

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To measure body suspension bracket height.
2. Two blows of a center punch to note position of the torsion concerning the lever.
3. To remove the torsion (it is not necessary to remove the stabilizer, however it is necessary to unscrew bolts of fastening of the lever).
4. To adjust adaptation installed on the place of the shock-absorber, extending it for increase in height of a suspension bracket of a body or shortening for reduction of height of a suspension bracket of a body (1,5 mm on adaptation correspond to 3 mm of height of a suspension bracket of a body).
5. To install the torsion. Rotating the torsion, it is necessary to find such position of shlits in which it freely understands on depth of 8-10 mm. Signs have to be moved on the corresponding quantity of shliyets (one vents there correspond 3 mm).
6. To check body suspension bracket height.
