3.1.2.1.9. Cover of a head of the block of cylinders

GENERAL INFORMATION

The nuts located under a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of models 1761 of cm3 and 1998 cm3 (with 8 valves)

Nuts are specified by shooters.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Engines 1580 of cm3 and 1905 cm3 (8 valves)
1. To remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. On models 1580 of cm3 and 1905 cm3 to remove the air filter and a casing of the air filter.
3. On all models to remove a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine.
4. To remove brackets of fastening of high-voltage wires to a cover.
5. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to uncover with rubber laying.
Engines 1761 of cm3 and 1998 cm3 (8 valves)
6. To remove a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine from the right forward side of a cover.
7. To remove brackets, to unscrew two screws and to uncover the filtering element of the air filter.
8. To unscrew 10 bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to uncover with rubber laying.
Models with 16 valves
9. To remove fuel and returnable hoses from the forward party of the main cover and to muffle them traffic jams.
10. To unscrew 7 bolts and to uncover, closing spark plugs.
11. To remove electric wires.
12. To remove a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine from the left forward side of a cover.
13. To unscrew 12 bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, noting the position held by each bolt as bolts have four various lengths.
14. To uncover with rubber laying.

Consolidation of spark plugs

In the points noted by shooters (3) to use the silicon insulator (XU9TJ4 engine).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Engines 1580 of cm3 and 1905 cm3 (8 valves)
1. To carefully clear a head cover, to remove all traces of oil and to establish rubber laying on all length of a cover.
2. Being careful to establish a cover on a head of the block of cylinders and to screw up bolts.
3. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
4. To install the air filter.
5. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
Engines 1761 of cm3 and 1998 cm3 (8 valves)
6. To carefully clear a head cover, to remove all traces of oil and to establish rubber laying on all length of a cover.
7. Being careful to establish a cover on a head of the block of cylinders and to screw up bolts gradually and evenly till the required moment (see rice. The sequence of tightening of bolts of fastening of a cover on engines 1761 of cm3 and 1998 cm3).
8. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
9. To install the air filter.
10. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
Models with 16 valves
11. To perform the operations described for models with 8 valves.
12. To establish four oil consolidations in openings for spark plugs.
13. To establish a cover of a head and to screw up bolts gradually and evenly till the required moment.
14. To establish the cover closing spark plugs.
15. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
16. To install the air filter.
17. To establish a hose of supply of fuel and returnable hoses to their corresponding fuel connections.

18. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
