3.3.25. Dismantling of the plug of synchronizers

GENERAL INFORMATION

The plug of each synchronizer needs to be disassembled separately not to mix their components. It is necessary to press one of stopper balls in each of plugs that will allow to get a nave from the sliding plug.

In the MA transmission of a spring and balls of the sliding plugs of all synchronizers are identical, and stoppers of the synchronizer of 1-2 transfers differ from the others. Synchronizers of the 5th and 3–4 transfers are almost identical and differ in naves – the nave of the synchronizer of 3-4 transfers has a pro-point (on the opposite side from a flute on its plug) which is not on a nave of the 5th transfer.
