4.3. Multipoint systems of injection of fuel

GENERAL INFORMATION

The fuel system consists of the fuel tank which is installed under the car bottom (with the electric fuel pump shipped in a tank), the fuel filter, the giving and returnable hoses, fuel nozzles and the fuel regulator of pressure.

The fuel pump gives fuel to the highway which carries out a tank role for food of four fuel nozzles.

The fuel filter which is switched on in the feeding giving tube between the pump and the fuel highway, completely purifies fuel.

Besides, there is an electronic control device (ECU), various sensors and electric components.

The air filter contains the disposable paper filtering element and includes a control system of temperature of the arriving air.

Prevention

The fuel system constantly is under pressure, even at the switched-off engine.
