4.3.7. Elements of system of injection Bosch LU2 Jetronic

GENERAL INFORMATION

Elements of a control system of the Bosch LU2 Jetronic engine are similar in operation on the Bosch L3 system. 1-Jetronic, described above, except the provision of a butterfly valve and existence of the oxygen sensor.

Starting position of a butterfly valve

The starting position of a butterfly valve is established at manufacturer and does not demand adjustment.

OXYGEN SENSOR

The sensor is located in an exhaust pipe.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To start and warm up the engine up to the working temperature, then to switch off the engine and to remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. To remove brackets and the socket from the sensor.
3. To unscrew the sensor from an exhaust pipe.
