6.5. Control of release of vapors of fuel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Control system of release of vapors of fuel

1 – cover of a jellied mouth,
2 – a canister for charcoal,
3 – hose,
4 – the calibrated opening,
5 – hose,
6 – electromagnetic valve of cleaning,
7 – sensor of temperature of cooling liquid,
10 – safety valve

To minimize leak in the atmosphere of not burned hydrocarbons, on later models the control system of releases of vapors of fuel is used. The cover of a jellied mouth of the fuel tank is tight therefore in a canister with charcoal the petrol vapors formed in the fuel tank of the parked car gather. The canister stores fuel vapors until they are not removed from a canister via the electromagnetic valve of cleaning. When the valve is open, fuel pass of vapors to the treatise of air supply to the engine is open and couples are burned during the operation of the engine.

To guarantee that the engine works normally, at the cold engine or idling ECU does not open the adjusting valve of cleaning until the engine heated up, and does not allow the reserved steam to pass in the treatise of air supply in the engine.
