GENERAL INFORMATION

SEALING RINGS OF POWER SHAFTS

Use of the plastic protective plug at installation of a sealing ring of a power shaft


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To establish a forward part of the car on supports and to remove a wheel from the relevant party.
2. To remove the lower casing (equipment in some versions).
3. To merge oil from the transmission.
4. To unscrew a nut of fastening of the lower spherical hinge and to disconnect the nave fastener from the lower lever, using a special stripper.

5. To weaken two nuts of fastening of the intermediate bearing and to turn half way fastening bolts so that to take their eccentric heads from the bearing case.
6. To pull a nave out of car limits for extraction of the internal end of a power shaft and release of the intermediate bearing from an installation suspension bracket.
7. After extraction of a power shaft from the transmission to shift a dustproof cover since the internal end of a shaft, noting its arrangement, and using a soft wire to suspend a shaft to a body.
8. Being careful, by means of the screw-driver used as the lever to take a sealing ring from the transmission.
9. To clear a nest for a sealing ring, to oil working edges of a new sealing ring and using a tubular mandrel to install a sealing ring in a nest in the transmission. If the sealing ring is supplied with the plastic protective plug, it needs to be established before installation of a power shaft.
10. To completely clear vents of a power shaft, then to apply a thin film of lubricant on working edges of a sealing ring and on vents on the internal end of a power shaft.
11. To establish a dustproof cover on the end of a shaft so that the flat surface was directed to the transmission.
12. To combine vents of a power shaft with vents of a semi-axial gear wheel of differential, then to level the intermediate bearing with an installation suspension bracket and to install a power shaft in the transmission.
13. To check that the intermediate bearing is correctly installed, then to turn fastening bolts back on 90 ° so that their heads were established opposite to an external ring of the bearing, and to tighten fastening nuts the required moment. To remove a plastic protective ring.
14. To connect a pin of spherical hinged connection with the lower lever.
15. To establish a wheel, then to lower the car and to finally tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel.
16. To fill in oil in the transmission.

SEALING RING OF THE ENTRANCE SHAFT

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove the transmission.
2. To unscrew three bolts fixing the directing plug of the bearing of switching off of coupling and to shift the directing plug from an entrance shaft, together with a sealing ring of round section.
3. Being careful, by means of the screw-driver used as the lever to take a sealing ring from the directing plug.
4. To check a condition of a surface of an entrance shaft of the transmission which is interfaced to a sealing ring and in the presence of scratches or zadir to polish this surface or to replace an entrance shaft.
5. To lower a new sealing ring in oil and to install on the directing plug of the release bearing.
6. To establish a new sealing ring of round section on a back part of the directing plug.
7. To install the directing plug into place, pulling it over an entrance shaft.
8. To screw bolts of fastening of the directing plug, having tightened them the required moment.
9. To install the transmission.

SEALING RING OF THE SHAFT OF THE CHOICE OF TRANSFERS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To lift a forward part of the car and to record on supports. To remove the left forward wheel.
2. Using the screw-driver as the lever, to remove spherical hinged connection of draft from a shaft of the choice of transfers.
3. Using the screw-driver as the lever, to take a sealing ring of a shaft of the choice of transfers from a casing (the drawing at the left) and to shift it since the end of a shaft (the drawing on the right).
4. To check a condition of the surface of a shaft of the choice of transfers which is interfaced to a sealing ring and in the presence of scratches or zadir to polish this surface or to replace a shaft of the choice of transfers.
5. To grease working edges of a new sealing ring and pulling over a shaft of the choice of transfers to install a sealing ring into place in the transmission.
6. To connect draft to shaft of the choice of transfers. To establish the left forward wheel and to lower the car.
