3.4.2.3. Removal of the distributor of ignition

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If it is necessary to improve access to the ignition distributor, to remove the air stream measuring instrument.
2. To remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. To remove a protective waterproof cover from the ignition distributor.
4. To unscrew screws of fastening of the distributor of ignition and to uncover.
5. If necessary to remove high-voltage wires from a cover and spark plugs.
6. On engines with 16 valves it is necessary to remove the plate closing spark plugs.
7. On engines with 8 valves to unscrew screws of fastening of the distributor and to remove the distributor.
	8. On XU9J4 engines with 16 valves to unscrew three Torx-bolts fixing a rotor to a flange of the drive of a rotor and to remove a rotor.
	9. To unscrew a bolt from the center of a flange of the drive and to remove a flange.
10. To remove the plastic support plate from an end face of a head of the block of cylinders.
	11. To uncover the distributor on the XU9J4 engine with 16 valves (1, 2, 3 and 4 – numbers of cylinders).
