BOSCH L3 SYSTEMS. 1 AND MP3. 1
Before adjustment to establish the speed of idling and to satisfy the following conditions:
– the system of ignition has to be in good shape and is correctly adjusted;
– the air filter has to be pure;
– starting positions of a butterfly valve are correctly adjusted;
– the switch of a butterfly valve is correctly adjusted;
– the engine has to be heated-up, the fan of cooling has to join and be switched off once.
BOSCH ML4 SYSTEM. 1
Speed of idling is not regulated. It is run by the idling speed regulator valve.
BOSCH LU2-JETRONIC SYSTEM
Adjustment of speed of idling by the screw (LU2-JETRONIC system)
Speed of idling is regulated as it is described for the Bosch L3.1 system (see above).
The composition of fuel mix is automatically regulated by the device according to signals of the oxygen sensor.
BOSCH MOTRONIC M SYSTEM 1. 3
Speed of idling is regulated only on engines with 8 valves; on engines the speed of idling is run with 16 valves by the ECU block.
MM8P, SAGEM-LUCAS 4GJ, BOSCH MOTRONIC 5.1, BOSCH MOTRONIC 3.2 SYSTEMS
On systems regulation is not provided. If the speed of idling or composition of mix do not meet standard, so the control unit is damaged.
