Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
2. To lift a forward part of the car and to record on supports. To remove forward wheels. |
3. On models with the steering drive with the hydraulic booster to merge hydraulic system liquid as follows: – to uncover a nutritious tank; – to place a container under the coupling of the pipeline of high pressure on steering transfer, then to unscrew connection; – to merge liquid in a container; – to finish discharge of oil from a contour, turning several times a steering wheel in both directions against the stop; – to disconnect a hose of low pressure from steering transfer. |
4. In the presence, to unscrew a bolt from a heat-resistant guard of steering transfer. |
5. On models the mechanical transmission to disconnect a bolt of an intermediate element of the transmission from steering transfer. |
6. To put combination tags between the end of an intermediate shaft and gear wheel of steering transfer, then to unscrew tightening a bolt, the fixing universal hinge of an intermediate shaft to a gear wheel. |

7. Working at one party of the car, to weaken and to partially unscrew a nut of the spherical hinge since the end of steering draft and using a stripper to remove the spherical hinge and to finally unscrew a nut. |
8. To repeat the procedure on other party of the car. |
9. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of steering transfer to a cross-piece. |
10. To turn steering transfer around a horizontal axis so that the gear wheel was in the basis, then to take steering transfer from under the right arch of a wheel. |

Repair
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To check the steering mechanism for wear and damages. |
2. To check that the gear lath moves freely to all length of the course. |
3. To check a side play between a gear wheel of the steering mechanism and a gear lath. |
4. To check all hydraulic connections for leak. |

Repair of the steering mechanism needs to be made at the station.
It is independently possible to make only replacement of protective covers of the steering mechanism, spherical hinges of steering drafts and steering drafts.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To install the steering mechanism into place, having combined a gear wheel of the steering mechanism with an intermediate shaft taking into account earlier made tags. |
2. To insert laying between the lower frame and the steering mechanism. To insert bolts of fastening of the steering mechanism and to tighten them the required moment. |
3. To connect pipes of the amplifier of steering and to tighten connecting nuts the required moment. |
4. To establish tightening a bolt of an intermediate shaft and a new nut. To tighten them the required moment. |
5. To install spherical hinges of steering draft in rotary fists and to fix them by new nuts. |
6. To connect the electric socket and the thermal screen to the steering mechanism. To establish wheels and to lower the car. |
7. To add liquid in a tank and to remove air from hydraulic system. To remove air from a contour, several times turning a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop. To add amount of oil in process of decrease in its level. |
8. To check and if necessary to adjust the angles of installation of wheels. |
