3.1.2.5.5. Bent shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

Designation of covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft and covers of conrod bearings

 

Covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft are numbered and turned by ledges towards the camshaft drive. Rods and their covers are designated by a special electric pencil.

Knot of the block of cylinders
1 – block of cylinders,
2 – cylinder sleeve,
3 – sealing ring,
4 – oil pallet,
5 – cover of the forward radical bearing,
6 – forward sealing ring,
7 – cover of the radical bearing,
8 – laying of a cover of the back radical bearing,
9 – drain stopper of cooling liquid,
10 – plugs

Installation of persistent half rings of a bent shaft

Flutes for lubricant have to be from a bent shaft.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To install a bent shaft in the block of cylinders (having established at first the inserts oiled).
2. To establish the oiled covers of bearings of a bent shaft, observing designations (covers are numbered). Ledges should be directed towards the camshaft drive (the ledge is specified by an arrow).

Prevention

It is necessary to insert 4 persistent half rings of a bent shaft into installation time of a cover of the bearing No. 2 the surface of sliding towards a bent shaft (see rice. Installation of persistent half rings of a bent shaft).


3. To clear the surfaces of connection of the block of cylinders and a cover of the bearing No. 1, eliminating all traces of lubricant.
4. To put on the block of cylinders in the top part of flutes of the bearing No. 1 a small amount of the pressurizing means of Loctite Frenetanch.
5. To establish a bearing cover on the adjusted adaptation 0153.A1. A bolt to attach a cover to adaptation bracket (see rice. Installation of a cover of the radical bearing No. 1 with the established laying).
6. To grease and fix a bearing cover so that not to extend side laying:
      – adaptation cover to establish the knot inclined on 45 ° in its nest;
      – to straighten knot;
      – to lower slowly;
      – to fix a cover by one bolt;
      – to take adaptation in the vertical plane.
7. To level laying end faces concerning the surface of the block of cylinders; after installation they have to act from the bearing on height as 2 ±1 mm.
8. To check an axial side play of a bent shaft and, in case of need, to replace persistent half rings of a bent shaft with the half rings corresponding to this side play (see rice. Check of an axial side play of a bent shaft).
9. By means of adaptation 0153. With to establish a sealing ring from a flywheel (see rice. Installation of a sealing ring of a bent shaft from a flywheel adaptation 7.0153 C).
10. To check a vystupaniye of sleeves of cylinders (this vystupaniye is result of a ratio of the sizes of the block of cylinders and a sleeve).
11. To insert four sleeves without laying.
12. To insert a plate 8.0132 B (the surface without edge has to be directed up) and to install the indicator of hour type on an arm 8.0132 C.
13. To measure in three points a sleeve vystupaniye concerning the block of cylinders (0,08–0,15 mm).
14. To check a difference between the measured values for points of measurement and for separate sleeves (at most 0,05 mm).
Prevention

If sleeves new, then change of size of a vystupaniye of a sleeve and difference of a vystupaniye by turn on 180 ° or change of an installation site in the block of cylinders is possible.


15. To designate (from the index of level of oil) sleeves of cylinders from 1 to 4 (1 from a flywheel).
