BENDIX SUPPORT
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To lift a forward part of the car and to record on supports. |
2. To remove the corresponding wheel. |
|
3. Using a G-shaped clip, to press a brake hose. |
4. To remove brake shoes. |
5. To clear area around the connecting coupling of a brake hose and a support. |
6. To weaken connection. |
7. To disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of wear of brake shoes. |
8. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of a support to a rotary fist. |
9. To remove a support from a brake disk, to unscrew a support from a brake hose. |

Repair of a support
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Being careful to clear a support of brake dust and dirt. |
2. To take the piston from the case of a support and to remove dustproof consolidation. |
3. Using the small screw-driver, to take a sealing ring of the piston. At the same time to observe big care not to damage an opening under the piston in a support. |
4. To completely clear all details, using methyl or isopropyl alcohol or special liquid for cleaning of the hydraulic brake system. Not to use gasoline or other solvents which corrode rubber sealing rings. |
5. Using compressed air, to dry up all details and to blow channels in a support. |
6. To check all details for wear and damages. |
7. To pay special attention to a condition of working surfaces of the cylinder and piston. If they are scratched or have obvious wear tracks, it is necessary to replace a support assembled. |
8. Rubber sealing rings and protective consolidations are subject to obligatory replacement. |
9. Before assembly to check that all details pure and dry. |
10. To grease the support cylinder, the piston and a new sealing ring with pure brake fluid. |
11. To install by fingers of a hand a new sealing ring in the support cylinder. |
12. To install a dustproof cover on the piston so that the internal diameter of a cover was included into a piston flute. |
13. To insert the piston into a support and at the same time to insert an external edge of a dustproof cover into a support before its fixing. |
14. If replacement of the directing fingers is made, then to grease them with special lubricant and to establish protective covers in flutes of the directing fingers. |
15. To implant the directing fingers into a support and to arrange an external part of a cover in flutes. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To screw a support on a brake hose, then to install a support on a brake drive. |
2. To cover a carving of bolts of fastening of a support with means against unscrewing (Loctite Frenetanch). |
3. To screw in bolts together with a plate of installation and to tighten them the required moment. |
4. To tighten a connecting nut of a brake hose and to establish brake shoes. |
5. To tighten a connecting nut of a brake hose and to establish brake shoes. |
6. To establish a wheel and to lower the car. |

GIRLING SUPPORT
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
Prevention
At installation of a support into place to use new bolts of fastening of the directing finger.
|
1. To lift a forward part of the car and to record on supports. |
2. To remove the corresponding wheel. |
3. Using a G-shaped clip, to press a brake hose. |
4. To remove brake shoes. |
5. To clear area around the connecting coupling of a brake hose and a support. |
6. To weaken connection. |
7. To disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of wear of brake shoes. |

8. To unscrew the top bolt of fastening of the directing support finger. At the same time for deduction of a finger from a provorachivaniye to use a thin wrench. |
9. To unscrew the lower bolt of fastening of the directing support finger. At the same time for deduction of a finger from a provorachivaniye to use a thin wrench. |
10. To remove a support from a brake disk, to unscrew a support from a brake hose. |

Repair
Repair is made similar to Bendix support (see above).
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To screw a support on a brake hose. |
2. To cover a carving of bolts of the directing fingers with means against unscrewing (Loctite Frenetanch), to screw in a bolt in the lower directing finger, to press a support and to screw in a bolt in the top directing finger. |
3. To tighten both bolts the required moment. |
4. To tighten a connecting nut of a brake hose and to establish brake shoes. |
5. To remove a clip from a brake hose and to remove air from the brake system. |
6. To establish a wheel and to lower the car. |
