GENERAL INFORMATION

Transmission heat exchanger

1 – hose of cooling liquid,

2 – hose of cooling liquid,

3 – bolt of fastening of the heat exchanger,

4 – heat exchanger

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The heat exchanger is installed on the top part of a case of the transmission. For access to the heat exchanger to remove air supply tubes in the engine.

2. Using a clip, to press both hoses of supply of cooling liquid to the heat exchanger to reduce loss of cooling liquid.

3. To weaken collars and to disconnect both hoses of cooling liquid from the heat exchanger.

4. To unscrew the central bolt of fastening of the heat exchanger and to remove the heat exchanger from the transmission. To remove two sealing rings from the heat exchanger.

Sealing rings of the heat exchanger

1 – internal sealing ring,

2 – external sealing ring,

3 – sealing ring of the central bolt

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To grease with pure transmission liquid new sealing rings and to establish them on the basis of the heat exchanger. Further installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal then it is necessary to add cooling liquid in the cooling system.
