Measurement of distance (X) between a ledge on a cable of compulsory inclusion of a low gear and the carving end of a cover of a cable

Adjustment of a cable of compulsory inclusion of a low gear has to be made on the heated-up engine.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To check and if necessary to adjust idling turns.

2. To switch off the engine and to check adjustment of a cable of an accelerator. To disconnect a cable of compulsory inclusion of a low gear from the lever on the carburetor or the case of throttles and again to check adjustment of a cable of an accelerator.

3. To extend a cable of compulsory inclusion of a low gear from a cover and to measure distance between a ledge on a cable and the carving end of a cover of a cable which has to make 39,0 mm. If the measured size is not equal to 39,0 mm, to unscrew two lock-nuts of fixing of a cover of a cable and moving nuts on a cover of a cable to establish the required distance (see rice. 4. To repeatedly connect a cable of compulsory inclusion of a low gear to the carburetor or the lever on the case of throttles and to check a gap between a ledge on a cable and the carving end of a cover of a cable which has to make 0,5 mm. If the measured size is not equal to 0,5 mm, to unscrew two lock-nuts of fixing of a cover of a cable and moving nuts on a cover of a cable to establish the required distance (see rice.
