3.2.12. Removal and installation of a turbocompressor

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of a turbocompressor (first stage)

1 – pressurization radiator,

2 – an air branch pipe between the air filter and a turbocompressor,

3 – an air branch pipe between a turbocompressor and a radiator of pressurization

Removal of a turbocompressor (second stage)


4 – oil return branch pipe,

5 – oil supply branch pipe,

6 – bolt of the lower fastening of a knee of an exhaust system,

7 – bolt of the lower fastening of a turbocompressor

Removal of a turbocompressor (last stage)

8 – bolt of the top fastening of a knee of an exhaust system,

9 – bolt of the top fastening of a turbocompressor,

10 – oil supply opening

Placement of wooden whetstone for fixing of the engine

 

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a radiator of pressurization (1) (see rice. Removal of a turbocompressor (first stage)).
2. Remove the air branch pipe (2) placed between the air filter and a turbocompressor.
3. Remove the air branch pipe (3) placed between a turbocompressor and a radiator of pressurization.
4. Muffle entrance and exhaust air outlets in a turbocompressor.
5. Disconnect branch pipes of return (4) (see rice. Removal of a turbocompressor (second stage)) about a turbocompressor and supply of oil (5) to a turbocompressor.
6. Unscrew the lower bolt (6) of fastening of a knee of an exhaust system.
7. Unscrew two bolts (7) of fastening of a turbocompressor to a collector.
8. Support the engine by means of a jack.
9. Remove the right support of the engine.
10. Incline the engine forward and insert wooden whetstone (see rice. Placement of wooden whetstone for fixing of the engine).
11. Dismantle an inlet collector (the central bolt should be released without vyvinchivaniye).
12. Disconnect a branch pipe of oil (5) (see rice. Removal of a turbocompressor (second stage)) from a turbocompressor also get it.
13. Unscrew two bolts (8) (see rice. Removal of a turbocompressor (last stage)) of fastening of a knee of an exhaust system.
14. Unscrew a bolt (9) of the top fastening of a turbocompressor.
15. Close traffic jams in a turbocompressor entrance and exhaust outlets of exhaust gases.

Installation

For installation of a turbocompressor it is necessary to perform operations in the return sequence in relation to its removal, and it is necessary to observe the following instructions.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fill in oil in a turbocompressor through an entrance opening of a turbocompressor.
2. Observe the moments of tightening of all threaded connections.
3. Disconnect electric wires of power supply of the valve of a stop of the engine on the fuel pump of high pressure or involve the stop lever (depending on model).
4. Rotate a bent shaft of the engine, including a starter for 30 seconds.
5. Start the engine and do not increase engine turns within 30 seconds.
