Installation of an axis of the selector

1 – axis,

2 – remote element

1. To replace an external ring of the conical bearing of a main shaft. For removal it is necessary to use adaptation 8.0317 A, and for installation – adaptation 8.0317 A and E.
2. To check conditions of a plastic element (it is specified by an arrow) an oil supply to a secondary shaft, and then to establish a selector finger.
3. To install differential in the external case, to grease surfaces of a cover with means of "Loctite Formetanch". To fix a cover.
4. To establish a sealing ring (adaptation 8.0317 G).
5. To measure a tightness of bearings of differential (if it is necessary). To establish laying 8.0317 L (thickness of 2,2 mm), and then the bearing case without lead of the drive of a speedometer and without round sealing ring. To gradually tighten bolts the necessary moment, turning differential all the time, and then to unscrew and remove the case of bearings.
6. To remove laying 8.0317 L and to measure distance between an external ring of the bearing and the surface of connection of the external case of differential (it is necessary to use a depth gage).
7. To measure height of landing of the bearing case.
8. To find a difference between both measured values. For finding of thickness of laying which should be established to provide a necessary tightness of bearings it is necessary to add 0,1 mm to the found value.
9. To establish speedometer drive knot on the case of bearings, to insert a round sealing ring and to fix the bearing case on the external case of differential. To tighten bolts the necessary moment.
10. To install a sealing ring in the case of bearings.
11. To install the directing plug of the release bearing and an external ring of the bearing.
12. To establish a frame of the reverse gear (if it was removed).
13. To prepare a selector axis: by means of adaptation 0317 C to squeeze a spring together with its two plastic cups, to level a finger of the selector and a clip of blocking (a tube with a diameter of 13 mm and 34,5 mm long).
14. To insert a selector axis, to take the device for compression of a spring, to establish pins.
15. To establish an intermediate connector for the selector axis lever, a round sealing ring, other elements, and also a connector, laying and a nut.
16. To establish a special sealant of an axis of the selector (adaptation 8.0317 B), and then an axis cap.
17. To place the magnetized plate in a case and to establish a case. To grease a surface with means of "Loctite Formetanch".
18. To put primary and secondary shaft with forks and their axes and together to establish everything in a case.
19. To establish an axis and a gear wheel of the reverse gear. It is necessary to arrange as appropriate a pin of an axis and to watch that the bevel of teeths of a gear wheel was directed up (for simplification of installation of a gear wheel it is necessary to lift a frame of the reverse gear).


To screw in a bolt of fastening of an axis of the reverse gear (the tightening moment – 20 Nanometers).

20. To establish a latch of fastening of a motionless axis, a spring ring of the bearing of a secondary shaft. To lift all knot for simplification of its installation. To tighten two bolts of fastening of the bearing the moment of 15 Nanometers.
21. To establish a gear wheel of the 5th transfer of a secondary shaft; the flange has to be from the bearing.
22. To establish a persistent ring of an external ring of the bearing of a shaft of coupling. It is necessary to pay attention to the correct installation.
23. To install the plug of a gear wheel of the 5th transfer, and then a gear wheel of the 5th transfer, and also the sliding coupling together with a nave.
24. To include two transfers, to tighten a nut of a secondary shaft (50 Nanometers) and to record it from unscrewing.
25. To take the plug of movement of the 5th transfer, to insert forks, and then to fix all this by a ball and the blocking spring.
26. Again to include two transfers and to tighten a nut of a main shaft (50 Nanometers), and then to record it from unscrewing.
27. To switch off the 5th transfer, and then to fix a pin.

28. To grease with means of "Loctite Formetanch" and to establish a transfer hub 5 cover.
