Removal of a sealing ring from the speedometer drive case

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To lift a forward part of the car and to record on supports. The drive of a speedometer is located on a back part of a case of the transmission, near the internal end of the right power shaft.
2. To take a pin and to remove a speedometer cable from the speedometer drive. In the presence, to disconnect the electric socket from the speedometer drive.
	3. To unscrew a bolt of fastening of the drive of a speedometer.
	4. To take the speedometer drive together with a gear wheel from a transmission case.
5. If it is necessary, the gear wheel can be taken from a casing and to replace a sealing ring.
6. If the speedometer drive gear wheel is worn-out, to check a condition of the conducting gear wheel in a transmission case.
	7. For removal of the leading gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer to take the right power shaft from the transmission, to unscrew three bolts and to remove the speedometer drive case from the transmission. To remove the leading gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer from differential together with adjusting laying.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal, at the same time it is necessary to combine ledges on the leading gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer with grooves on differential (are specified by shooters).
