GENERAL INFORMATION

Intermediate transfer of the drive 4 x 4

1 – the conducted gear wheel,

All cars with the drive 4 x 4 are equipped with the BE 3 transmission of the special execution allowing installation of the transfer case which has the built-in differential.

Removal and installation

Removal of the transmission from below of the car demands preliminary removal of the transfer case (see subsection 8.1.19), other actions do not differ from operations on removal of the transmission in cars with the drive on forward wheels.

Other specifications, and also service and repair of the transmission are similar to the BE 1 transmission.
