13.9. Replacement of a forward wing

GENERAL INFORMATION

Knot of a forward wing and front grille

1 – front grille,
2 – clip,
3 – forward wing,
4 – antimud casing,
5 – forward casing

Prevention

At this operation there is a danger of deformation of a wing. Forward wings are screwed and pasted. For removal of wings without their damage it is necessary to warm up connections between wheel niches and wings by means of adaptation of supply of hot air (or by means of other source of heat).


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To open a cowl.
2. To remove optical knot of the index of turn.
3. To remove an antimud casing.
4. To unscrew screws of the top fastening of a wing.
5. To unscrew the fastening bolts placed on body support at height of loops of doors.
6. To remove a wing.
7. In case of difficulty to insert the end of a knife into the warmed-up sticky weight and to stretch it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To clear the surfaces of connection.
2. To impose glue consolidation.
3. To establish a wing, without screwing up against the stop elements of its fastening.
4. To close a cowl and to adjust gaps between it and a wing.
